NCS hosts an annual school-wide vocabulary contest. The complete test contains 800 Chinese characters which are divided into 16 groups based on their frequency of usage in the Chinese language. Students can choose the initial level at which they want to compete and move up with the challenges. Students are recognized for their performance with prizes and certificates.
